- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆2017-04-21, by Douglas Mcleod2 weeks prior to the event my wife ordered 7 gladioli which MUST be open ie not simply in bud. The order was crystal clear and I would have thought simple to satisfy. When we went to the shop the flowers were all tightly in bud and practically useless for their purpose. The florist said they would open by 3 pm that afternoon. Of course they didn't. I will not use them again.
